DESCRIPTION OF MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS (MSDs) AND WORK POSTURE AMONG WORKERS IN UNIVERSITAS DARUSSALAM GONTOR

Abstract
The human body is designed to be able to carry out all activities in daily work. However, if the muscle receives static load continuously in the wrong position and for a long time it can cause a complaint in the parts of the skeletal muscle. Complaints felt in the skeletal muscle part, both very mild complaints and severe complaints are referred to as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). The purpose of this study was to describe the risk level of Musculoskeletal Disorders using Nordic Body Map (NBM) and the risk of work posture using Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) among Workers in Universitas of Darussalam Gontor. The design used in this study is a descriptive observational that aims to describe musculoskeletal disorders and work posture in workers inUniversitas Darussalam Gontor. This research conducted from October 2023 to February 2024 at Universitas Darussalam Gontor. The object of this study was 40 workers in Universitas Darussalam Gontor. Based on the results of the study, the risk level of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) using Nordic Body Map (NBM) in University of Darussalam Gontor workers is in the low category with a percentage of 77.50% with the highest level of MSDs in the wrist limbs, which is 14%. The risk level of Musculoskeletal Disorders using Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) in Universitas Darussalam Gontor workers, on average is in the medium category of 55% with Table A having the highest percentage of 53%, which represents the limbs of the neck, legs and also the body. Advice given to Improve posture while working and improve workstations and facilitate workers with new work aids.
