Abstract

The routine of a teacher's profession such as organizing learning activities, dealing with students, completing various school assignments, making student exam questions, and correcting student exam results can make one of the factors of excessive workload on teachers then, making teachers one of the jobs that can trigger burnout. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the quality of fardhu prayer and the risk of burnout in the teacher in SMKN 1 Jenangan Ponorogo. The type of research used is quantitative using a correlational approach. The population in this study were teaching staff at SMKN 1 Jenangan Ponorogo. The sampling method used in this study was simple random sampling with a total sample of 100 people. The instrument used to measure burnout is the Maslach-Trisni Burnout Inventory (M-TBI) and the quality of fardhu prayer using a questionnaire. After conducting a correlation test using the pearson product moment formula with the help of microsoft excel, the correlation result between the quality of prayer and burnout is -0.035102844 with a significant value of 5%. The results of the correlation analysis between the variables of prayer quality and burnout on Muslim teacher in SMKN 1 Jenangan Ponorogo show a very low and insignificant negative correlation. This means that the quality of prayer is not strong enough to influence the burnout variable. For further researchers, it is hoped that they can test the validity and reliability of the fardhu prayer quality instrument before sampling the research site.
