THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE SYSTEM SOCIALIZATION TO INCREASE THE KNOWLEDGE OF SDN 2 TONATAN PONOROGO STUDENTS

Abstract
Law Number 24 of 2007 concerning natural disaster management classifies children into vulnerable categories because of low school performance and the role of parents in efforts to introduce disaster education. East Java Province was ranked 3rd with the being prone to earthquakes, BPBD Ponorogo confirmed that earthquakes appeared several times even, with small strength or scale. This socialization activity was carried out by delivering material on the introduction of natural disasters and how to overcome them. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of emergency response system socialization on increasing the knowledge of SDN 2 Tonatan students.This type of research is quantitative with an experimental approach. The population of this study was all students of SDN 2 Tonatan, and the sample amounted to 37 grade 6 students of SDN 2 Tonatan. Pre-test and post-test sheets were used as instruments to collect data in this study to determine the difference in values before and after treatment, this study used the Normality Test and T Test. Based on the significance value as seen in the t-Test table, the significance value is less than 0.05, namely Sig. (0.000) < 0.05 so H0 it is rejected, then H1 accepted. Means there is a difference before and after treatment is given. Data calculations illustrate that the socialization held effectively increases the knowledge of grade 6 students at SDN 2 Tonatan in terms of factors that affect effectiveness.
