Work Posture Assessment in the Integrated Building of Darussalam University Gontor

Abstract
Office work that is dominated by sitting activities and long computer use has the potential to pose a risk of unergonomic working postures. This study aims to assess the level of work posture risk in lecturers, educators, and administrative staff in the Integrated Building of Universitas Darussalam Gontor using the Rapid Office Strain Assessment (ROSA) method. This research is observational with a quantitative descriptive approach. The study population amounted to 400 workers, with a sample of 112 respondents determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 8%, adjusted for time constraints and research costs. The assessment is carried out through direct observation of the workstation which includes chairs, monitors, telephones, mice, and keyboards, then scores are calculated in parts A, B, and C to obtain the final ROSA score. The results showed that most of the respondents were in the high risk category of 76.8% and the rest were in the medium category. The highest average score was found in the chair components, especially armrests and back support with a value of 5.03, making it the most dominant factor in increasing ergonomic risk. This study also analyzes the level of risk based on the type of work that includes lecturers, staff, and education personnel, as well as by the type of work equipment used, namely laptops and computers
