Pembangunan Ekonomi dalam Prespektif Islam: (Satu Analisis Pesantren Gontor dalam Memberdayakan Ekonomi Masyarakat)

This research aims to explore the practice of buying and selling luqathah goods based on Islamic law, with a case study on the Clothing Bazaar by Student’s Organization Laundry Section at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with observation techniques, structured interviews, and documentation. The results showed that buying and selling luqathah in this bazaar is allowed from an Islamic law perspective, because it has fulfilled the pillars and conditions of buying and selling. In accordance with the Shafi'i Mazhab, goods worth less than one dinar are not required to be announced for one year, as long as they are still in decent condition. Legally, the luqathah clothes have become the property of the laundry department and are valid for sale. However, the bazaar is not the main option in handling luqathah; rather, the main priority is to announce it regularly to all santri. The researcher recommends that the Laundry Department improve the management system, especially in the quality of announcements, so that there will be fewer clothes left behind or switched.
